We ended up going to the Patch Farm's Pumpkin Patch three times this year; the kids LOVED it! We went once with friends, once with cousins, and once with family. The kids LOVE playing in the hay maze, pointing out a million different pumpkins, picking out little pumpkins, playing on the tractor, and looking at the Olaf pumpkins.
We absolutely love our new home and neighborhood! One of the perks is the friends that we've made. Jess has made some great friends with the guys on our street and one of the hobbies they've gotten into is RC planes. Any free minute they have they meet out in the street to fly their planes. Its so fun to watch them get so excited about flying. :)
Poor Kasen was so tired that because Mommy wouldn't take him to bed he decided to fall asleep next to her while folding laundry. His sweet soul amazes me!
Chili's Restaurant had a Daddy Daughter night that was to die for. Jess and Maycie Lou actually acted as if it was a date the whole night; they held hands, Jess opened her doors, and we even dolled Maycie up with a little lip gloss, a few fake curls, and her mini mouse high heels. While at Chili's they had dinner, decorated a picture frame, and got a goody bag full of princess accessories and treats. This night was definitely a success and hopefully Chili's makes it a tradition. :)
Being young and already having two children, people often say to us that we run before we learn to walk... All we have to say to that is
"But man do we sure run in style!"
