Grandpa Todd's Christmas

Christmas Eve, Grandpa Todd came over with the uncles to give the kids their presents. He gave us one of our favorite presents, Lagoon passes, along with another little present for each kid. Kingston got a cool helicopter just like Daddy's that he can fly by himself, Maycie got a talking and singing Elsa doll, and Kasen got a playtime piano that he loves yelling into the microphone with. The kids also loved spending time with Grandpa Todd and the uncles.

Curtis Christmas Eve

We had a great time at the Curtis gathering on Christmas Eve with all of the cousins. The kids loved being in their jammies, and they loved their presents from Grandma Laurie and Grandpa Dave. Kingston got a cool remote control car, Maycie got a barbie playground set, and Kasen got a ball toy of course! Later we watched The Muppets Christmas Carol with some cousins. Hopefully Santa brings us some good presents in the morning. ;)

The Walker Party

The Walker party this year was as fun as usual! Amazing food and tons of cousins kept the kids busy for a few hours so Jess and I could enjoy ourselves too! The kids played some present games, everyone played charades, and we got to see Santa! Kingston did great with Santa! When sitting on Santa's lap, the kids were suppose to tell him a nice gift that they wanted to give him for next year; Kingston's response to Santa was, "I'm going to be nice to my sister for Jesus." He is becoming such a sweet little boy! Maycie hated Santa and wouldn't go near him! She finally handed him the paper with her gift to Jesus of being nicer to her brother, but still stayed about 3 feet away. Kasen sat on Santa's lap but tried with everything he had to get off, including screaming at the top of his lungs! I guess next year will hopefully be a better year when it comes to Santa. ;)

Ugly Sweater Party

We had a great time at the Ugly Sweater party that our friends Ryan and Kristan had. We had some amazing food, played so fun games, wont awesome white elephant gifts(including an ear wax machine), and wore some beautiful ugly sweaters! I decided to make our sweaters this year and boy did they turn out better than I thought. The front of mine was a Rudolph face, and the back of it said "Happy Holla Dayz" with a peace sign and hang loose sign out of winter gloves. Jess' sweater was inspired by Madonna; I made two snowmen on each side of his chest with styrafoam cones as the nose, and in the middle of the sweater was a Santa hat with a beard below made of fake white doll hair, but if you lift up the beard there was a hole to see Jess' belly button. Our sweaters definitely got their use out of them because of everyone that borrowed them too!
