Chicago!

This weekend we went to Chicago because I found round trip flights for $40!! We brought Aunt Kelcie and Uncle Trent to help us because Daddy was in Florida golfing. We stayed at an amazing resort just outside of Chicago called KeyLime Cove Resort. The resort had arcades, restaurants, games, crafts, etc.... and oh ya... an indoor water park!! The kids had a great time going down all of the slides, going around the lazy river, and playing in the wave pool. However, there was a giant pineapple one top of one of the jungle gym slides that would tip over and poor water all over the whole thing and Maycie was HORRIFIED, so we stayed clear of that one as much as we could. Ha. This was the first time Haizlie was off of oxygen in over a month and she did amazing!! We had the Owlet to monitor her oxygen and heart rate, but she did fine the whole time! The kids did great on the plane rides and were pretty much saints the entire trip!!

"Having Their Wedding Day"

These cute nuggets have been the best of friends lately. I recently walked in on them "having their wedding day". Kingston asked Maycie to marry him, she said yes, they danced, through the flower bouquet to Kasen, put a flower in Maycie's hair, then started to pretend to have a baby before Mommy stopped them. I have no idea where they learned all of this, but when asked, they answered "preschool". Oh heaven help me! The next day they pretended to be married while walking down the isles with me at "At Home". Kingston was wearing a "top hat", Maycie had her flower bouquet, and Kasen would cut down the trees in their way. I sure love their imaginations right now!

Haizlie is 9 months!

Haizlie bug is 9 months!! She is so busy now that I couldn't even keep the month sticker on her. She is constantly crawling around to find a cupboard she can stand up against and pull all of its contents out of. She was a champ when getting her shots and is gaining weight just fine even though she is still not able to eat baby food. She loves having bread from Mommy and Daddy and is starting to tolerate baby treats more and is loving those. Mommy needs to start planning her 1st birthday already because its just around the corner!! Stop growing baby girl!!

Haizlie is 7 months!

Haizlie Grace is 7 months today! She is so stinkin' busy all the time that she wouldn't sit still or smile for Mommy for a picture! She has definitely become a Momma's girl these last few weeks and just wants Mommy to hold her all day long. She is still having an allergic reaction to baby food but has tried green beans, peas, and carrots. She is loving veggie straws and cherrio's but loves to make a mess of them even more!

Haizlie is 6 months!!

Miss Haizlie Grace is officially one half of a year old! This last six months has gone by WAY too fast but we're so glad with the time we are able to spend with this little nugget. She can sit up now and likes to roll all over the place to get to things. She is definitely starting to get into trouble being more mobile which her siblings think is funny. She is still the happiest baby ever and is smiling all day, but doesn't give us much laughter yet, mainly just a nice cackle that sounds like she is choking. She has eaten oatmeal cereal a few times but seems to get a skin allergic reaction every time so Mommy is going to hold of on food for a little bit longer. The claps all day long and has had the best time with the holiday season. We love you Haizie Bug!!
