Maycie in Our Flower Girl Dress

Lately Maycie has loved getting dressed up for church. She still isn't too fond of me doing her hair, but at least she loves the girly dresses. One dress in particular gets me weepy every time she wears it. Last month, cousin Avery gave Maycie a hand-me-down dress, which was the dress she and Misha wore as our flower girls. Its so fun to see our adorable daughter in the dress in front of my as I was walking down the isle towards my Prince Charming. I'm feeling so blessed today!

4th of July!

As tradition, we had a great time at the Kaysville 4th of July Parade! The kids love getting candy but are slightly afraid of going out in the road (Mom Win!) so Mommy and Daddy help them. Kasen preferred to stay in the shade. After the parade, we stayed for the "Water Zone" part of the parade and we all goat soaked. Aunt Kelcie was kind enough to hold one of the kids so that we could all deal with one crying, wet child. :) That night we went to the annual Ashcroft bash to watch fireworks and eat yummy food. We ended our Independence Celebration the American way through a Salt Lake Bee's Baseball game with fireworks afterwards(we had to watch the fireworks sitting on a blanket in the parking lot behind our car so that we were further away because Maycie was horrified)!

Kasen's Teeth

Our happy Kasen Guy went from having 1 tooth to having 5 within one month!! And yet, he was still his happy little self! He did sleep a lot more this last month because we all know that growing teeth is hard work. Now we can't get over his adorable smile with those cute little pearly whites poking through. Can we just squish him all day?

Father's Day

This year for Father's Day just didn't want me to spend any money so I decided to make some things for him as a Father of three. The first thing I made is capes for everyone. Jess and Kingston love to pretend to be superheros together, so I took some old red curtains we had for $6 and made capes for Jess, Kingston, Maycie, and myself. We ended up flying around the family room for two hours! The second thing I made for Jess is a shirt; on front it says, "Super Dad", and on the back is a city that the kids can drive cars on. Jess loves laying on his stomach and letting the kids rub or step on his back so hopefully this shirt gets a good use out of it. Jess is the most amazing Father to our children I could have ever asked for. I am the luckiest girl in the world and am glad that our children get to enjoy their Dad every single year!

Jess' Birthday

Jess' birthday was a super fun event! We went to Lagoon in the morning, then went to dinner at Tucanos, then walked around gateway and Daddy got to sit, relax, and just watch the kids play in the fountain. The kids love their Daddy so much and I'm so glad we got to celebrate the day that he came to be! We are definitely a lucky bunch!!
