Snow Day

We got snowed in and couldn't make it to church today because the snow was so deep at our house! Our strong men went out and shoveled so we weren't stuck forever. This was Kingston's first experience with the snow that he actually enjoyed; he wanted to stay out with Daddy the entire time. At first Kingston didn't know how to walk in the snow so he decided to get down on his tummy and army crawl. He loved sliding down the pile that Daddy was making for him; it ended up being about 5 feet tall on both sides of our entire driveway. After shoveling, they ended the night with a little cuddle session.

Monster Truck Ralley

For Jess' Valentine's Day present I surprised him with tickets to the Monster Truck Ralley. We left Maycie to be babysat by Aunt Nikki and took Kingston on a date night. It was REALLY loud so Kingston was a little hesitant at first. However, when we got the ear plugs in him, he started to get really into it. One of the pictures is of him yelling at the motorcycles as they did back flips. He's definitely turning into a little boy. He also panted like a doggy as the dalmatian truck would come by us.
To complete the night, we dressed up for the event. We consider these outfits or "white trash" clothes. How'd we do?

Fun night at the Jazz game!

Grandpa Todd took our family to the Jazz game tonight so we decided to bring him a treat too. In honor of Valentine's Day, we brought a pink cupcake with white frosting and red decorative frosting. As you can see, the red frosting had a purpose. As soon as Grandpa saw the number 3, all he could say was, "Are you serious?..... Are you serious?" I think his reaction was the most like ours out of everyone we've told. Looks like we're going to be busy, and its no secret.

Surprise Curtis'!!

Surprise Jensen's!!

That's right! You're probably about half as shocked as we are though. Curtis baby number three is due on September 21, 2013. Mommy and Daddy are absolutely terrified and are seriously considering number 3 being the last. However, after about 3 weeks of initial shock, we are starting to become happy and excited for our little family to grow once again. On the Curtis side this makes number 21 for grandchildren/cousins. On the Jensen side it makes number 3 for grandchildren but actually number 4 for great-grandchildren. We're so excited that our kids are so lucky to be apart of such fun families. Wish us luck.

Last night for Family Home Evening I put together a cousins game night in which we played fun Valentines games and had yummy food. I asked everyone to get together on the couch for a picture for my blog and as Aunt Nikki took the picture she said, "Ok everyone, on the count of three. One...two... Everyone say 'Tori's pregnant with number 21 due in September'... three!" With 3 other cousins being born in August, no one was sure if it was a joke or was true. This was the reaction we got when they figured out we weren't joking.

Just had to post a picture of the cute outfit that Aunt Kylie gave to Maycie Lou. She loves all of ruffles and the fact that they reach to her mouth.

6 Months

Cute little Maycie is now 6 months!! She is becoming a silly little girl with all of the funny faces she makes. She loves holding her bottle with her feet, which Daddy finds intriguing. ;S She is sitting up like second nature but still isn't crawling yet.

Exciting Doctors Appointments
Today was a big doctors day for our little ones. Kingston had his 18 month check-up, and Maycie had her 6 month check-up.

Kingston's measurements:
32.5 inches tall = 48th percentile for height.
21 pounds, 8 ounces = 3rd percentile for weight.
So in otherwords, he's tall and skinny like Dad.

Maycie's Measurements:
26.5 inches tall = 77th percentile for height.
16 pounds, 6 ounces = 56th percentile for weight.
So basically she's still a chunk as usual. :)

The funniest part is that Kingston's headsize is 18 inches(5th percentile), and Maycie's headsize is just 1 inch less than her big brothers at 17 inches(71st percentile). Total opposites.

This is a picture of the kids before their shots.
This is a picture of the kids after their shots. Kingston was the little angel child for once and didn't even flinch his eyes when they gave him his shots. Maycie on the other hand cried as if someone had taken away her bottle for about 5 minutes...She was very offended as you can tell.

The little munchkins are really starting so show some love for their sibling. Within the last 2 weeks Kingston has decided that he loves "holding"(its what we adults call hugging) sister, and Maycie is starting to think Kingston is hilarious. She is constantly watching him and laughing. These two are definitely going to be best friends.
