Uncle Tyson's Graduation

I can't believe Tyson is old enough to graduate! I was fortunate enough to be able to go to his graduation today and I had a good time reminiscing about the days when Tyson thought he was a Backstreet Boy by wearing a vizor upside down and backwards. Its amazing to me that he went from being a complete shrimp to being 6'3", and that he is becoming such a man with the way he acts towards his niece and nephews. At his graduation, I could tell that everyone admires him as a person, and the girls don't think he's half bad looking either. ;) The kids enjoyed spending time with Tyson before and after graduation. I can't wait for Tyson to start the next chapter of his life by going on a mission so my kids can look up to him for that too.

PCTV

Building this house has been pretty stressful, but has also made for an unforgettable experience. The garage door on our Oakridge Drive house broke while we were building our new house and in trying to get it repaired, I was somewhat harassed by a garage door technician that was sexist and having a bad day. After that experience, I called the owner of the company and he came out the next day, fixed the garage, and let me know that because of the situation he would put in our garages on our new house for their cost. It ended up being even better than we had hoped because they threw in several upgrades at no cost, gave us a book of pictures that they took during the construction of our house, and we had some fun doing interviews for different TV stations. The first interview we did was for Park City TV. It was a fun experience and we are very grateful to A&B Overhead for all they did for us to make sure we got the best service possible.
The house is coming along great. They've started dry walling and texturing, putting the exterior stone on, and the front door is half in. The kids love it when I let them go inside and play, but they usually end up SO dirty!! I think by the look on their faces they're going to really love our new home.
