Maycie's Preschool Cookie

Maycie was so proud of herself for making a cookie today at preschool. She held it as though it was glass and couldn't wait to show Kingston when we picked her up. What a doll!!

Bear Lake

We had an awesome weekend!! We were lucky enough to be able to use Jess' boss' cabin in Bear Lake for the weekend of September 5-7. Grandma Karen took the kids for us on Friday night while we spent the night at the cabin with the guys on Jess' work team. We played games, relaxed in the hot tub, and the best part... had a night away without three tiny people constantly hanging on us. However, we actually missed them like crazy the whole time! Then after a day of boating on Saturday, we went to pick up the kids and decided to go to the Utah State game and hang out with Grandma and The Uncles. Sunday morning we headed back to Bear Lake to take the kids boating. The kids LOVED the boat, but didn't necessarily love the cold water. Kasen actually liked the rhythm of the boat so much he fell asleep on me in the most awkward position ever. The kids also loved playing on the beach in the shallow water because it meant they could run around and be independent. Jess, Uncle Trevor, and myself had a great time wakeboarding and jet-skiing as well!! We will definitely be doing this every year!
