Snow Tubing Date

Jess and I rarely get to have date nights by ourselves, so when we do get one, we go big or go home. For this particular date we decided to really go big and go snow tubing. It was so fun because the hills are so large that you actually get air when you go down the different levels; yet, the best part about it is that you don't have to walk back up. The employees hook your tube up to a pully and you get to sit back and enjoy the ride up the hill. We had fun racing each other, and also linking our tubes together. The best run of the night was when we were doing a race to determine who would give the other a 20 minute back massage, so as you can imagine, Jess was very determined. As the employee counted down, Jess ran his little heart out, kicked the tube too far in front of him, and landed straight on his face. Everyone waiting their turn in line "Ooooo-ed", and "Owwwwwch-ed" as his face hit the rock solid snow. Unfortunately even with his graceful fall, he still beat me and I did indeed have to pay up.

Messy Eaters

One day I know I'll look back at these pictures and laugh, but as for right now, I have to say that my favorite part about mother-hood is definitely not cleaning up the food after them. I sure do love them anyways though. This is the kiddos after eating chocolate pudding.

Hollywood Connection

Some of the Curtis dads were able to take a long lunch due to Martin Luther King Day, so we decided to go to Hollywood Connection. The kids were so excited when Daddy surprised them and walked in, and Mommy was glad Daddy could ride all of the rides with them. Maycie and Kingston love the rides, but have most fun on the coin operated fire truck with their cousins. Maycie also loved climbing on the skeeball machines with her cousin Chasely. Kasen was content just sitting in his stroller looking at his hands and all of the lights.

And so it begins..

Maycie has already taken over my closet. She loves to go get Mommy's clothes and figure out how to put them on.... Its usually not correct. ;)

Logan time while Jess is away...

Jess went on a little golfing trip to Mesquite with his company so I took the kids up to Logan. While in Logan, we went to the Fun Center with Kelcie Carter, Grandma Karen, and the uncles. We let them play on the huge jungle jim, play some arcade games, and even played lazer tag with the Kasen. Uncle Trevor played a game with Kingston and Kingston actually won the high score on the driving game; they took his picture and it will be in the first place photo until someone beats the little guy. After a long day of fun we went home and gave the kids a bath, but Grandma Karen took it one step further and made it a "goo" bath. By pouring some powder into the tub it turned into little crystal balls that the kids could run through their fingers; it was really hard to eventually get them all off though. Uncle Trent loved playing basketball with Kingston and Maycie in the basement, and uncle Tyson loved cuddling with Kasen while he slept.

4 Months!

Kasen is 4 months and cute as ever! He loves rolling from side to side but still isn't consistently rolling over yet. He is drinking about 6 1/2 ounces of formula ever 4 hours or so, but has started to try to hold his bottle by himself. He loves sitting in his bumbo with toys and to be apart of the family at the dinner table. He has started to laugh a lot and is still constantly smiling all day long. Maycie and Kingston think he's a doll that they get to carry around whenever they want but also love kissing his head.

Movie Night

Maycie and Mommy weren't feeling very well tonight so we decided to have a movie night. We ended up making popcorn, and slush, and let the kids eat chocolate covered almonds while cuddling and watching their current favorite movie, Megamind. Maycie and Kingston sure love cuddling next to each other.
