Memorial Day

We were fortunate enough to spend Memorial Day with Grandma Janee because we weren't able to see her on Mother's Day. We had a really fun day at Hollywood Connection with her. Daddy and Kingston had fun soaking a girl in a dunking machine. Kingston went on the adult bumper cars and everyone around was watching and laughing because he was so confused as to what was going on and how he was able to drive his own car wherever he wanted. Maycie loved the merry-go-round as usual. And we all went roller skating and had a blast dancing and skating to the music and disco bal. However, the kids zonked out towards the end because it was way past their bedtime. We ended the night with "pete-zee"(pizza) and The Hunger Games. What an eventful day.

Happy Girl

Went in to wake up Maycie this morning and she was standing up in her crib for the first time. She's always such a happy girl when she wakes up in the morning, especially now that she can stand up. :) Look at those adorable teeth!

Memory Grove

Today we went to Memory Grove for our friends birthday, Tyler Knowles(Big Mama). We went with Tyler, Ian & Dani, and Ryan & Kristin. The kids loved looking at and petting the doggies and the adults enjoyed playing frisbee. Jess over-threw it one time and had to go in the freezing cold pond to retrieve it. The kids had fun being a part of the "big kids" as you can see by the pictures.

Popsicle Time!

The kids are so thrilled its summer time because a few times a week, after dinner, Daddy shares popsicles with them... Naughty Daddy for giving them sugar! ;)Check out Maycie's long tongue!

Lunch Date

Today we surprised Daddy at his office and took him to lunch. The kids love going to Daddy's office and saying "Hi" to everyone, especially Daddy. Then we grabbed some McDonald's to go. Kingston loved eating his hamburger all by himself in his carseat. Then we went to Seven Peaks to pick up our 'Pass of All Passes' and finished our lunch on the grass. Maycie loved eating the grass while we ate our McDonald's.

Hiking

We went on a fun hike this morning to a waterfall with Grandma Karen, Aunt Corey, and Uncle Brett. Kingston loved to listen to the birds and Maycie loved to look at the rocks on the ground. They were both a little confused with a butterfly that kept flying into our faces. Half of the hike was along a beautiful little river that flowed off of the waterfall we were trying to reach. Once we got to the waterfall, both of the kids wanted to jump right in; Daddy confirmed that it was WAY too cold!

Lots of Pudding

Kingston got his very own pudding cup today. Mommy let him eat it however he wanted with whatever he wanted. He started out slowly with a spoon, then decided very quickly that he liked it so much that he just started to put his face in it. I think I see lots more pudding in our future.

Girls Night

Daddy went to Moab with the guys this weekend so Mommy and the kids went out to dinner with "Mannie" (Maddy Horn) and "Dandy" (Dani Arbuckle). We went to Texas Roadhouse where Kingston flirted with the hostesses and Maycie was a little afraid of all of the noise.
