Toilet Time

Usually toilet time would mean potty training or something; however, in Maycie's world apparently it means you spend some time IN the toilet. We went down to have breakfast and before we knew it, Maycie was no where to be found. As I walked around the house it was dead silent, until I heard something coming from the bathroom. Thinking I was going to walk in and find her playing with my make up as usual, I walked in with a smile saying, "Maycie Lou". She turned her head around and looked up at me with worried eyes from INSIDE the toilet. She was a little confused when I started laughing hysterically and yelling at Jess to get the camera. You can tell in the pictures that she knew she was doing something naughty. I love her big innocent eyes!

Valentine's Day

This Valentine's Day we decided to spend the night with the little munchkins that we love. We went to dinner at Mo'Bettah and when we came home, the Valentine's Man had stopped by. Unfortunately when he went to drop off the kids' Valentine's treats, he misplaced them. The kids helped find them by following his clues.

Dear Kingston, Kasen, and Maycie,
Unfortunately I've been a little spacey!
I had a Valentine for all you three,
But misplaced it...Where could it be?
To find a clue, go to the potty.
But please walk nicely, don't be naughty.


I guess its not here, where should we look?
I love to read, maybe by the books?

Wrong again, lets look some more.
Maybe we could check by the front door.

You three have been so smart,
I hope we find them from the bottom of my heart.
One more place and I promise we'll stop,
Lets look in the place where you like to hop!

They were so proud of themselves when they found their surprise treats!

Special shout out to my main squeeze! This man stole my heart nearly 4 years ago, and my heart still skips a beat every time I see him.

Maycie Lou's Hand-Me-Downs

Having 3 cousins only a few months older than Maycie has really worked out in my favor; she gets adorable hand-me-downs! Here are a few of the outfits that Aunt Nikki has passed on from cousin Jelly. Unfortunately she's too busy for me to get a decent picture of her cute outfits.

I decided to let Maycie eat yogurt all by herself. It didn't go very well.

Our First Build!

Our little family of five has started to build our first house. We've had a lot of fun designing our dream home, or at least the home that we dream of having for our family right now. So far we've worked with Design Loft on the Architecture, and Grandpa Dave's company, International Commercial Properties, has been framing. We drive by almost twice a day and we have also taken a few walks up there. The kids don't like the walks very much because we only have a two seat stroller, but they do love pretending to be big shots on the job site with Uncle Cliff.
