Today was moving day and we were so excited! However, when you get a call saying that the fire department is at your new house because there's a fire... your heart kind of sinks! I'm pretty sure I was speeding 20 mph over the speed limit to get there, but I got there in record time. Come to find out, it was just a fire in the dumpster out front so everything was okay, but it was pretty funny having everyone drive up to our new house to unload with the fire department in the way. In the pictures you can still see some of the fire in the dumpster, but what is no longer there was all of the trash that was piled up above the top of the dumpster; the fire was burning so hot that it quickly scorched everything within a few minutes. They said it seemed like paint thinner had been thrown away and went up in flames from the sun and heat outside. What a memorable moving day!
Once we finally got everything into the garage/house, the kids didn't seem to sad to have had to say goodbye to our old house for the last time. They were hyper and happy all day long, playing in every nook and cranny they could, including Maycie's plastic dresser which she got stuck in. Silly goofs!
