Kingston's Half Birthday

Kingston was so excited to celebrate his half birthday today! We were in the hospital with Haizlie when it was his real half birthday so this day couldn't have come soon enough for him. He was so excited to get a RED balloon and a red ring pop(his teacher accidentally gave him green but he made sure she knew he needed red. ha)! They sang happy birthday to you, you, you, you, you, and a half.... and talked about some of his favorite things. He was able to tell them all about his trip to Disneyland this week and was asked all about his favorite treats and toys. For his birthday treat he chose to give them Ritz cheese cracker sandwiches and strawberry kiwi capri suns. He loved having all the attention and can't wait for his half birthday next year already!

Maycie's Tea Party

Maycie has been doing so great in her dance class; she passed off everything she needed to, so she was invited to a Tea Party. She picked out her most beautiful tea party dress, did princess hair, and wore Mommy's make up. At the Tea Party, she got fairy wings and got to drink special drink and eat cookies. They played games and danced and she said it was the best party ever!

Beach Day

The last day of our trip was definitely my favorite; an entire day spent on the beach at Venice Beach! First we played in the sand looking for sea shells and building sand castles with our friends, the Walz family. Then Daddy and Maycie took a nap on the beach while Mommy took Haizlie, Kasen, and Kingston on a 2 mile walk down the boardwalk/pier. Mommy had a great time looking at all of the different beach houses and little shops while the boys loved touching all of the water fountains on each house. We then went to Muscle beach and watched some of the street performers which Maycie thought were hilarious, and then the boys chased pigeons away from homeless people trying to feed them. We then played tag on the beach playground, finished walking along the boardwalk, and got fruit smoothies from a stand. What a great way to end the vacation with my cute family!

Disneyland!!

Even though we were pretty worn out from two days at LEGOLAND, we took one for the team and did two more days at Disneyland and California Adventures. Haizlie loved going in the Finding Nemo ride under the water in the submarine, Maycie loved the Little Mermaid ride, Kasen loved all of the Bug's Life rides, and Kingston loved the Star Wars rollercoast, Space Mountain! We were so proud of the kids going hard for this long with no naps. They all did so well!! We loved all of the treats that Daddy got us, and loved watching the Shopkins Show, the Jedi Training, and the Main Street Electrical Parade! We didn't see any characters besides Captain America, but the kids didn't seem to mind because they were able to see a lot of characters in the parade!
