Haizlie, you have been born into this world during a remarkable time and under great circumstances, a time when the world is at war with itself over moral battles. Haizlie, you can be a genuine light and spokeswoman of truth and love for our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. You can be a perfect example of our saviors teaching of love and light. Haizlie, I bless you that you will have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and growth. Grown and mature with education and knowledge which is of God as you strive to do your best. Haizlie, when the time comes, I bless you to have the wisdom and maturity to choose a righteous man and be married in the temple; choose a man to assist you in raising children in the gospel throughout the eternities. Humbly listen and receive the blessings so abundantly offered to you in the temple as you are sealed to your spouse and your posterity. Choose to raise your children with Christ-like love and patience. Among all I bless you with a fierce and unending desire to follow the Saviors example in word and deed throughout your life. Be true to yourself and the Savior. You are so loved, and will always be loved by those around you, and your Heavenly Father. And these things I bless you with in the name of the Jesus Christ, Amen.
Mommy later shared her testimony about how she knows that these blessings are truly so important in our lives, just as every blessing Haizlie will receive from her Daddy, or any priesthood holder, in the future. Mommy has seen many miracles come from the priesthood and can't wait to see how Haizlie is continually blessed from it.
After church we had about 60 of our close friends and family come celebrate Haizlie with us at Tunnel Springs Park. We had tons of yummy food and some fun girly decorations, along with a gorgeous day and good company to enjoy. We sure are blessed to have Haizlie Grace Curtis in our lives for eternity!
